A bit about therapy
Therapy is an opportunity.
Therapy or counselling can help a person improve their mental, emotional, and physical health while encouraging a positive relationship with self, others and the larger community. Counselling can provide the opportunity to stand up to problems that may be influencing you and it can increase self-awareness and the ability to challenge the power those problems have on your life.
What brings people to counselling may be causing trouble with daily functioning and in relationships. I believe that we are experts in our own lives, therefore I work collaboratively in identifying strengths and seeing how a person can use those strengths to work through what is getting in the way.
